The Static Trees is a songwriting duo from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania made up of Nikki Barber and Dylan Whitlow. Mixing a variety of instruments and 60s folk rock sensibilities, the Trees released four CDs in their first 12 months. Dylan and Nikki were in Lancaster in April for the LAUNCH Music Conference and joined me at the Candy Factory for a chat about their 3rd CD, 3 Acres of Logic.
