Dietrich Strause is a singer-songwriter from Boston Massachusetts. A Lancaster, PA native, Strause used Central Pennsylvania as a backdrop for many of the songs on his latest record, Laborsongs & Barking Dogs. While on a trip back to the area to perform at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center, Dietrich joined me for a chat about the record and his transition from Lancaster to Boston.
