Mark DeRose is a really nice guy. He also happens to be a fantastic musician and the front man of Mark DeRose & The Way Home. Their latest album, Carolina Smile, was produced by Eddie Jackson and released on Radio Vibe Records in 2011. It has also been nominated for a 2012 TriState Indie Music Award for best album artwork. I recently caught up with Mark to talk about the album, the band, and his experiences working with Eddie Jackson.

Mark, Mike just gave you the best compliment. He’s says he likes your new music as much as he likes Willie Nelson. You know that’s a big thing.
