Reflections of Maple and Mahogany by Scott BalsaiScott Balsai is an fingerstyle acoustic guitarist from Pocatello, Idaho. He spent his first 27 years in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania before through hiking the Appalachian Trail and then heading west. A guitarist his whole life, Scott didn’t begin recording his music until the late 1990s. His third and latest album Reflections of Maple and Mahogany: A Musical Diary includes original compositions that span the last 35 years. Scott was visiting Pennsylvania this summer and stopped by Lancaster for a chat about his latest album and his musical journey.
Creative Works of Lancaster return to Musser Park for their Works in the Park free outdoor summer play. This year they will be producing Room Service on August 9, 10, and 11.     Jason: I really enjoyed your interview with Scoot Balsai since I know him personally. I lived 60 miles from Scott in Soda Springs, Idaho. Now I live in Davao, Philippines and I miss seeing Scott in person. You just took me back home. Thank you so much. Ronald Watts
