Billed as a not so traditional holiday show, the sketch comedy troupe, Happy Time Explosion Show!, will be bringing its unique brand of not-for-kids funny to Zoetropolis, the Lancaster City movie house, for three dates over the holidays.
An antidote to all that is sugary, sappy and hard to swallow, this year’s show promises to blow the lid off of what folks around here have come to expect from live performance, but that is exactly what the veteran artists involved in this project do.
While writers and actors have been fairly tight-lipped about what they have in store for audiences during this year’s installment entitled Holiday Time is a Happy Time (Explosion Show!), last year’s show was jaw-dropping and a refreshing addition to Lancaster’s arts scene.
Produced by Creative Works of Lancaster, the folks responsible for Sock Puppet Psycho, Jaws to the World and the summer play in Musser Park, Happy Time is a collaborative team of folks looking to win over the new and delight the veteran fan with their less than politically correct approach and smart and witty material.
Come on out and check out the show!
