House Concert: Sopa Sol 5/19/2012

Sopa SolThe Wood Stove House is delighted to partner with Nancy and Clair Sauder to bring you an exciting house concert to benefit No Longer Alone Ministries featuring Sopa Sol.
The music of Sopa Sol is eclectic and richly organic, a blend of traditional and exotic sounds, with lyrics that reflect on being wholly human.  Everything, including genres, is open to interpretation. The band features:

  • Frances Miller – vocals, violin, viola, PANArt hang drum. Frances is an improvisational artist, singer-songwriter, and composer working across artistic disciplines with musical influences from various cultures.
  • Daryl Snider – guitar, vocals, sax, kalimba. Daryl started singing four part harmony in church, was trained as a classical oboist and tenor, picked up saxophone in college and then guitar.
  • Jason Mundok – bass, keyboard, vocals. Jason has been playing, writing and recording music since the late 1980s and spent over 6 years in Nashville during the 1990s playing in a variety of rock, folk and country bands.
  • David Armstrong – cajón, percussion, vocals. David has played music spanning genres from heavy metal to country, including a time early in life when his family traveled across the United States singing in churches & campgrounds.
