Podcast #110: The Ouro Bros. and Skirtin' the Curtain with Joanna Underhill

Ouro Bros.Jeff Burkholder and Jeremy Bentley are the creators of The Ouro Bros. and the Neverending Tour, a zany weekly webcomic about two musician brothers who are living on the road chasing their dreams in the independent music world. Every week a new strip is published online at OuroBros.com that chronicles the adventures of Stan and Balthazar Ouro, along with a host of other fun characters that the brothers met as they have zig-zagged across the country navigating the unpredictable waters of the independent music world.

Since its inception over three years ago the webcomic has been essentially telling an origin story of how Stan and Balthazar have expanded their band from a duo to a four-piece rock ‘n roll powerhouse that includes bassist Elle (formerly of Elle’s Bells) and keytarist Chester. This expansion has happened organically over time in the midst of many adventures and antics.

Jeff and Jeremy are ready to take the comic to a new level. They launched a Kickstarter campaign to help publish the first Ouro Bros. book. The idea is to compile the entire origin story into a single printed volume, including all weekly strips published to date. Learn how you can contribute to the Kickstarter campaign here and follow the adventures of Stan and Balthazar Ouro at OuroBros.com.
