Lancaster British Brass Band
Stephen Allen and Doug Albert from the Lancaster British Brass Band. The band is celebrating their 10th anniversary with a special concert coming up this Saturday, May 10th at the First United Methodist Church here in Lancaster. Doug, a cornet player and the band’s MC and Stephen, the band’s conductor join me to talk about the history of the Lancaster British Brass Band and the history of British Brass Bands in general.
The Lancaster British Brass band consists of 28 players and a conductor. It’s all brass winds and percussion and it draws musicians from all around the region include New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
