ATWS Podcast #81: Spring Awakening at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center

Spring AwakeningEd Fernandez, Artistic Director from the Ephrata Performing Arts Center (EPAC) and Josh Kirwin, actor and bassist with Darry Miller and the Veil, join us on the program today. Josh plays the lead role, Melchior, in the upcoming EPAC production of Spring Awakening. While this show is now a Broadway musical, it was written in Germany as an avant garde play by Frank Wedekindover 100 years ago.
Over the years, the play has been extremely controversial and until it was transformed into a musical in 2006, it had been very rarely produced. The EPAC production of Spring Awakening opens on October 25th and runs through November 10. More info and tickets can be found at EphrataPerformingArtsCenter.com.
